Upcoming IPO list 2022

What is IPO Meaning | what is Initial public offering?

An IPO is an initial public offering in which a company prepares to sell its shares to the public by offering its own privately held shares to the public. Companies must file a DRHP with SEBI for an Initial Public Offering (IPO) in order to change their company name from Private Limited to Limited. For the IPO, the company must first file a DRHP (draught red herring prospectus) and then a final RHP (red herring prospectus). SEBI approves the Initial Public Offering for the companies, after which they proceed with the IPO. Following RHP, the company determines the price band and the date on which investors can apply for the IPO using the UPI or ASBA format.
